Antony Hook MEP

Member of the European Parliament for South East England

Antony was elected to the European Parliament in May 2019. With his fellow Liberal Democrat MEPs, Antony sits in the Renew Europe with MEPs from other member states. Antony is committed to Stop Brexit and to keep Britain IN the EU.  

Antony lives in Kent with his wife and young child. He also sits as a local councillor in the town of Faversham, Kent.  


UK Office 

Darren Briddock

Office Manager 

Darren is responsible for the day-to-day running of office affairs and manages the budget. Darren has several years’ experience, previously working at the Liberal Democrats HQ in London.

As a hobby Darren enjoys analogue photography.  


Alex Lister

Communications Manager

Alex heads up communications for Antony Hook MEP. He is responsible for press, media and PR. A former journalist, Alex also has extensive experience in digital campaigning.

In his free time, Alex enjoys singing in choirs.


Jack Winslade

Communications Officer   

Jack, works on digital and offline communications. A recent politics graduate from the University of Kent, Jack specialises in EU affairs.  He is responsible for providing continuous updates on political activity in both the UK and the EU as well as working on day-to-day projects. 

Jack’s hobbies include kayaking, dogs and being involved in Scouting.  


Hannah Perkin

Communications Officer

Hannah liaises with local and regional media to promote the role of Antony Hook. She also performs casework and research.

Hannah is a mother of two and runs an award-winning vegan catering business. In her spare time Hannah enjoys competing in local netball leagues and attending heavy metal concerts. 


Brussels Office 

Volha Kozhukh

Senior Accredited Parliamentary Assistant

Volha supports Antony with his parliamentary activities in Brussels. She assists Antony with his legislative work on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and in the Committee on Legal Affairs. Her work also includes research, analysis and oversight of projects relevant to South East England.

Volha’s speaks six languages and enjoys exploring European capital cities.


Kevin Flynn

Accredited Parliamentary Assistant

Kevin assists with a variety of policy work related to the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and in the Committee on Legal Affairs. His main tasks include legislative and regulatory analysis, media relations, digital engagement and the coordination of Antony’s diary.

Kevin is an avid Gaelic football fan and is currently manages and plays for Belgium GAA’s senior men’s team in his spare time.
