THE WORLD OF ZAMPIVA
Lino Zampiva founded PASTELCERAMICA SnC in Montebello Vicentino, Italy, in 1976 .
Mr. Zampiva graduated from the school od Arts and Crafts , where he learned how to make potter’s earth ductile and malleable . His passion for painting and sculptures led him to create the fabulous collection of figurines popular with collectors worldwide.
The world of Zampiva is a world of beautiful colours , humour, fun, beauty and fantasy . The Zampiva figurines consist of unique characteristics: each figurine is individually handcrafted , handpainted with particular care like this beautiful lady with crossed palms, for each detail by Lino Zampiva and his team of artists.
Process: Figurines are first sketched on paper, then created using a very soft kaolinite, followed by the drying process. After hand painting, figurines are then baked at a temperature of 950 degrees Celsius
Sculptures that are painted with gold or have a pearl fisnish, are baked at 750 degrees Celsius.
